Museum Reproduction Offered for auction: A very pretty Parian ware ewer or small pitcher, a Bennington Museum Reproduction. It has a matte white bisque shape with embossed designs of large leaves around the base and arching cat tails on the sides, with a ruffled rim and elegant squared handle. This nicely shaped piece is 5.75 inches high at the spout and 3.25 inches wide across the base; it measures 2 inches wide across the foot ring. This piece is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, flakes, or hairlines. It has an exquisite design and elegant shape. The bisque ewer / pitcher has an incised mark on the bottom that reads "Bennington Museum Reproduction" with what appears to be a hand-written mark for "Rouse." Price: $18.00. |
