Vintage Hall China A very neat piece of Hall China, a vintage Irish coffee or latte cup with handle, in a dark brown color, with a raised diamond pattern. Please note that the cup is darker than the camera flash makes it look! This Hall mug is in very good to excellent condition. It measures 4.75 inches high and about 2.5 inches wide across the foot. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, or other flaws that I can see. The bottom has a circular Hall black mark, along with "Made in U.S.A." (photo at right, below). Price: $8.00
Hall
China A gorgeous, egg-shaped salt shaker with handle from Hall China, in a pattern called "Rose White" (item 38922 at replacements.com, discontinued 1945, described as "wild roses platinum trim"). The shape is called "Sani-Grid." It measures 4 inches high and about 3.5 inches wide at the center. The top rim has platinum trim, and there is a rose on the front and roses down the handle. The holes on top make an "S" shape. This piece is in good condition, with no chips, flakes, or crazing. There is a very fine hairline or thick craze line at the bottom edge of the handle (see closeup photos at top of listing). The rose decals are very solid, and the platinum trim is about intact. There is even what appears to be the original cork in the bottom. There is no mark that I can find. Price: $8.00. |
