Wonderful Royal Copley Aquarium Vase:
Open Fish Vase Planter

What a wonderful vase! This is one of my all-time favorite finds. From Royal Copley, made by Spaulding, this three-dimensional design is described as the "Open Fish Vase Planters, 5-5/8 inches high with two runners" (as described on page 110 of "Royal Copley: Identification and Price Guide," by Mike Schneider, 1995).

The base is a little over 7 inches long and about 2.5 inches wide. The detail is rich, clear, and well molded, even to the air bubbles coming from the fish! As the photos show, there is overall light crazing, and several thin hairlines around the top (the worst is in the back). There is also one spot of discoloration on the right-front side.
