Prairie Green Rutile Glaze, Ada Clay

This nicely shaped pillow vase from Frankoma has a wonderful Prairie Green glaze. I believe the clay is the earlier brown Ada variety, rather than the later red Sapulpa. It has an incised mark "63 / Frankoma."

A heavy piece, this vase measures 7.5 inches high, 4.75 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. There is one serious flaw, a large 2-inch crack crossing one corner (as visible in the photos, at bottom).
